NCDT?
Behind The Trust
The Navy Clearance Diver Trust (NCDT) is a not-for-profit trust fund dedicated to providing relief to current and former members of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Clearance Diving Branch and their dependants, who become deceased, damaged or permanently disabled in, or as a result of, their service or training.
The funds raised by the Trust will be allocated to families and individuals to provide immediate aid and to fill the inevitable gaps in support provided by the Defence, Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), and other key ex-service organisations.
Why we set
up the trust
Behind the trust
There simply aren’t enough reliable support services, resources or compensation schemes available for Clearance Divers through industry based funds.
To tackle this significant issue, with the guidance of the SAS Resources Trust, a group of former Clearance Divers united to create the NCDT, modelled on the SASRT, for the benefit of Clearance Divers and their families.
Get Involved in the trust
We provide support to current and former clearance divers and their dependents on a needs basis. Fill out the form below if you would like to be involved within the trust.
